The vehicle also features a new torque-vectoring differential in the rear, which serves as the foundation of the Golf R's high-tech handling.
With all these additions, the Golf R rockets from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds. The Golf R also offers selectable drive modes--Comfort, Sport, Race, Special, Drift, and Individual--that up the fun that this powerful hatchback delivers.

The Golf R's infotainment system is powered by a 10.0-inch touchscreen situated in the centre of the dashboard and accessorized by popular content such as a Harman/Kardon premium stereo system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
